Play for Kader FC this Christmas

08 December 2021

Since 1976 Kader Football Club has been a staple of community sport.

Boasting over 300 players playing for 30 teams, the club has developed into one of the most highly regarded community clubs in Middlesbrough.

This Christmas, the club are hoping that as many people as possible buy a ticket for the Middlesbrough Lottery and support their club.

The support at this time of the year is crucial, winter can be a difficult time with clubs experiencing increasing costs due to pitch damage and the replacement of kits and sports equipment.

Based in Hall Drive in Acklam, the club’s aim is to provide children of all ages and abilities from across Middlesbrough, the opportunity to play the beautiful game in a safe and friendly environment.

Kader FC Chairman Alan Formby-Jackson said: “We are not a club that’s just hell-bent on winning everything.

“Of course we want to win, but what really counts is that the children have somewhere to come and play football, that they enjoy it, stay fit and healthy and make new friends in the process”.

Upkeep of a football club isn’t cheap; new footballs , replacement goalposts , and a professional-standard pitch to maintain means that your ongoing support will help the club to keep going.

By playing the Middlesbrough Lottery each week, you’ll also be enriching the community and giving local children somewhere safe to play, socialise and keep fit and healthy.

Middlesbrough Lottery tickets only cost £1, and 60p from every ticket you buy will go to local good causes in Middlesbrough like Kader FC. A weekly draw takes place every Saturday night and there is a £25,000 jackpot cash prize to be won.
